Nondiscrimination Policy

Reinly is a community where anyone can belong: what that commitment means for everyone who uses Reinly.

Effective date: 20 October 2026

Reinly is a community where anyone can belong. When you join, you commit to treat everyone in the Reinly community, regardless of their race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, skin colour, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age, with respect and without judgment or bias. This Nondiscrimination Policy explains what that commitment means in practice.

It applies to everyone who uses Reinly (buyers, sellers and anyone else with an account) and to everything you do on Reinly: listings, profiles, messages, booking requests, bookings and reviews. It forms part of our Terms of Service and sits alongside our Community Standards and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Protected characteristics

In this policy, a "protected characteristic" means race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, skin colour, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age, and any other characteristic protected by the law that applies to you or to the other person.

2. What you must not do

You must not, because of someone's protected characteristic, or of one you assume they have:

  • decline, cancel or ignore their booking request or message, or offer them different times;
  • refuse to sell to them, or offer them a different price or different terms;
  • post a listing, profile or message that states a preference for or against people with a protected characteristic, or that discourages them from enquiring;
  • use slurs, stereotypes or demeaning language about them or a group they belong to;
  • ask about their protected characteristics to decide whether, or how, to deal with them;
  • harass, threaten or intimidate them.

3. What is not discrimination

Sellers can make decisions based on things that genuinely relate to the horse and the sale, applied in the same way to everyone. For example: a rider's experience and ability, and whether the horse suits them; the buyer's plans, facilities and care arrangements; price, timing and availability; and anyone's safety, including the horse's. Following the law, or our Terms (for example, the requirement that account holders are at least 18), is not discrimination under this policy.

If someone asks for a reasonable adjustment so they can view or try a horse, such as more time or bringing someone to help, please consider it in good faith.

4. Reporting discrimination

If you experience or see behaviour that breaks this policy, tell us. To report a listing or its seller, use Report Seller on the listing page. For anything else, such as a message, a booking or a profile, use the Contact support button below or email support@reinly.com. Our team reviews every report.

You must not retaliate against anyone for reporting, or for helping with a report.

5. What happens if this policy is broken

Depending on what happened, we may remove a listing or other content, warn the account, or suspend or permanently close it, as set out in the Terms. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes; continued use of Reinly after the new effective date constitutes acceptance.
